Mutant Life changes names to Mutant Lives..

Hello everyone,

You may notice that Mutant Life has changed its' name to Mutant Lives. A couple of months ago, Linden Research, previously known as Linden Labs, threw a monkey wrench into the use of the eye in hand logo and have copy written the words Second Life, Second, Life, SL Lindens and so on so that it shouldn't be used in any context. So we changed our in world Logo to the new Mutant Lives/DNA logo but also had to remove the use of the world "Life" from Mutant Life and to reflect our moving upward and onward, we changed it to Mutant Lives. I like it and I hope you do too. Also we hope to have "real life" connections to Mutant Lives merchandise in the form of different products and hope to have that available at a later date.

New at Mutant Lives

I've been a little lax on posting here in the Mutant Lives Blog, but it has been a very busy time in RL. Hopefully that will al change in the future. Here are some of the new offerings at Mutant Lives.

New Items and changes at Mutant Life

Well A LOT has happened recently at Mutant Life.

I first of all, bought out, the owner of the group and now officially own all of Mutant Life land MYSELF!.. This is so cool as I can finally do some changes to the land in Kojin, hopefully with a new store design, but also lately I have added about 7k meters worth of land bringing it up to a little over a quarter of a sim. When I get started on working on the new store, it hopefully will look a little more fluid and even be more inviting.

Also I have been driven insane by the new Babylon 5 uniforms.
These uniforms are probably the hardest I have ever had to make especially with all the details and addons. But I was able to get them down and finally have 4 uniforms each for women and men. The four uniforms are the Blue Navy, Green Army, Brown Marines and Grey Security. Included in them are sculpted and prim accessories and a working PPG.

All Items are available now at Mutant Life and on SLX and OnRez.

More will be going on soon so keep on watching!

Not updated in a while cause of being insane.

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't updated in a while as I have been totally insane with working on several in-world projects and trying to finish up several new Avatars that may surprise a lot of people. I'm trying to move into bringing in some Villains and also some of the obscure Sci-Fi/not so much seen Avatars. Also working on several prop items that I will be packaging up for sale. Hopefully, but the end of next week, I will have 4 new avatars available, 2 male, 2 female, some costumes and props. I am also working currently in the Delta Quadrant Sim on a Vulcan/Federation highbrid Starship. It has 5 decks with lots of areas for Roleplay for the Star Trek Fan.

Over the New Years Holiday, I had a wonderful opportunity to invest in a piece of art created by the Artist, Alex Ross. I got a limited edition painting of one of my favorite Comic book teams, the Avengers with Mr. Ross' signature. I am so excited to have this beautiful piece of art. Only 250 produced and I have no. 200. So cool. Also I started a new job that has kept me from being the most productive person, but soon that will change.

So keep watching as more stuff will be on its way and I promise to update more often.

Catching up with all that is new at Mutant Life.

Sorry I have been lax at imputing content and news into the blog but other things have had me incredibly busy. I opened a new store at Bayside Mall and Resort, opened and worked on a new co-venture with a great designer and friend, Zelinna Jacques, remodelled Mutant Life, Isle of Serenity for the co-venture and created a lot of new content. The list is below of all that has been introduced to Mutant Life. Oh and I finally got with it and put items on OnRez.com and SLeXchange.com so that items can be bought online and for others. Think I have been busy?..here is a few other things I've made. Enjoy!.

Now just release at Mutant Life 2 new avatars and a sound pack. These avatars have nothing to do with the exclusives I am working on.

First up is Captain America, 2008 Alex Ross Version, yet to be released.

After much study of the new images I pulled a version of the new Captain America together so that you can be the first to wear the new version of Captain America.

Based on the yet to be released Alex Ross Version of Captain America. Be the first to wear the new Captain America. This set includes: Complete Captain America Avatar, with Costume, Sculpy boots, belt, accessories, head wings, throwing and non-throwing shields, Shooting and non shooting revolver, Shape, Head Mask, skin and blond haired complete skins. New Releases at Mutant Life this week.

Here are three new releases this week at select Mutant Life Stores. Some of the stores have limited prim allowances and since I have enough stores as it is (about 9 locations) I really don't have to have these releases in all of them.

This week introduced the first of many villains I hope to introduce and two of the Comic book version of DCs' Teen Titans.

Scarecrow, my first Villain, of Batman Fame, is a perfect av for Halloween or tormenting any of those DC Heroes. He is a complete avatar with a new feature in Second Life, the use of Sculpted prims. Sculpted prims are made using a 3d design package, saving the texture map and then importing it into Second Life. He features a Sculpted Hat, Head and sleeve cuffs. I think he turned out pretty well if you ask me :)

Second is Teen Titans' Robin in Red and Black. He has a Teen shape and skin and can be used also as a everyday Teen Character. He comes with a complete Costume, Hair, and working weapons.

Third is Teen Titans' Wonder Girl. She features sculpted hair and flexified hair, a Teen Skin and Shape for everyday, complete costume and a blocking bracer stance.

If all goes well, I hope to complete a complete Teen Titans' Group and do a few others too.
