Catching up with all that is new at Mutant Life.

Sorry I have been lax at imputing content and news into the blog but other things have had me incredibly busy. I opened a new store at Bayside Mall and Resort, opened and worked on a new co-venture with a great designer and friend, Zelinna Jacques, remodelled Mutant Life, Isle of Serenity for the co-venture and created a lot of new content. The list is below of all that has been introduced to Mutant Life. Oh and I finally got with it and put items on OnRez.com and SLeXchange.com so that items can be bought online and for others. Think I have been busy?..here is a few other things I've made. Enjoy!.

Vampire King and Queen.
A sound pack for the Vampire King.
Working wings.
A Drow Elf Rogue I can't find the images for.
Magneto and Mystique.

Just a few items and hopefully I will be more on top of things as I go, but the holidays is coming so a slow down often happens for me as I get really busy.

TC mutant lifers and Happy Holidays!

New Releases at Mutant Life this week.

Here are three new releases this week at select Mutant Life Stores. Some of the stores have limited prim allowances and since I have enough stores as it is (about 9 locations) I really don't have to have these releases in all of them.

This week introduced the first of many villains I hope to introduce and two of the Comic book version of DCs' Teen Titans.

Scarecrow, my first Villain, of Batman Fame, is a perfect av for Halloween or tormenting any of those DC Heroes. He is a complete avatar with a new feature in Second Life, the use of Sculpted prims. Sculpted prims are made using a 3d design package, saving the texture map and then importing it into Second Life. He features a Sculpted Hat, Head and sleeve cuffs. I think he turned out pretty well if you ask me :)

Second is Teen Titans' Robin in Red and Black. He has a Teen shape and skin and can be used also as a everyday Teen Character. He comes with a complete Costume, Hair, and working weapons.

Third is Teen Titans' Wonder Girl. She features sculpted hair and flexified hair, a Teen Skin and Shape for everyday, complete costume and a blocking bracer stance.

If all goes well, I hope to complete a complete Teen Titans' Group and do a few others too.

Take care for now and keep on Watching!

August ads

These are the Klingons and the Cyclops I added to the store..

News News and More News and info

Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been posting in a while. The summer got ahead of me and all my work, really got put on the back burner due to my RL. Nothing like getting married and starting a family to really derail all your good intentions. I did add a bunch of new items over the summer and didn't have a chance to post pics and such. I released a Deadpool Avatar featuring a new combat/HBA, Hud Based Action system based on a system created in world that was given to the Second Life community. With that, Deadpool of Marvel Fame has sounds and battle actions that are controlled from a HUD/ Heads Up Display. I also applied this to a new Cyclops Avatar and also some 16 plus weapons for two Male and Female Klingons. Busy busy, but they turned out pretty well and I really proud of them. Before I left for my trip in August and wedding, releasing them and also working on two items for customers before I left. Marilyn Manson in two costumes with complete avatars and a Madori (spelling) outfit for another. Madori has not been released yet as it was based on a specific sized avatar and may not work for everyone. Marilyn Manson, hit stores this last week and is selling well. It features a tattoos drawn directly from his that he wears and can be removed easily as they are featured on a prim shape. These tattoos are formed specifically for the MM avatar but with some editing could work for anybody but are only in the MM avatar packages. This past week I started working on a Wondergirl and Robin that hopefully will be released soon. Sooo much is on the drawing board that I hope if you are Second Life you will find something that will suit you.

Now a little bit of news that I'm very excited about. Within the next couple of months my good friend Zelinna Jacques and myself will be starting a new joint venture called "US." No it isn't U.S. but the US stand for Zs' and myself new store that features casual wear hopefully for women and men. This New store will be on the bottom half of my land in Island of Serenity and will have access to Mutant Life and Whispers on the top floor. This entire area will feature our designs and joint work yet featured. I hope that you will find much more there for all your avatar needs and soon, I hope, a better focus on Fantasy and Horror as I promised.

Keep a look out for all that is up and coming and as always, the Mutant Life Users Group will get all updates and if you want to stay informed, when in Second Life, simply search in group for Mutant Life Users' Group and join. There is no cost and all the features you can receive through it may just make your day.

Take care all and enjoy the new items coming to MUTANT LIFE!

New Storm at Mutant Life and a little rant.

Well here is my latest avatar at Mutant Life..Storm from the Xmen 1 t0 3 Movies with the X3 Movie hair, which I liked the best. I had hurt my hand a couple of weeks ago so I haven't been pumping out my usual stuff as I like but I think what I did here is enough to get at least wet a few appetites. Which brings me to my little rant and that is about members who join your group to get a heads up simply on what you are doing so they can get the jump on you or feel they can do better than you. I had this brought up to me by a couple of people and went and had a look for myself. Now, I have to say.....I DON'T FRIGGEN CARE what other people are doing. Isn't SL big enough for everyone to make their own version or their own style or well take from any Genre out there and do their own spin without feeling that they have to be the best and make others look like crap? I mean..Hey..I do this cause I love to plain and simple. I make really for those who like certain things and I have never EVER joined a group to Steal their ideas or get a one up on them so I could rip the carpet out from under their feet. Another thing I hate..is when people are told to no use Second Life or a named shows Adverts which I won't name here and make it sound like they have the endorsement of Second Life or one of the big networks. You don't have that right and shouldn't be doing it.

There is my rant and if you read, fine..if not..know this..I don't care what you do...just do it ethically.

Take Care,
Trimzi

Finally new stuff at Mutant Life in Second Life

Finally after working out a few details and fighting with a busy work schedule and the basic issues in Second Life. I was finally able to release these new items. I have to say they turned out pretty well, well almost pretty well. My favorite is the Wolverine Avatars. They have animations, gestures and a very nice assortment of things along with them. Also as time goes I hope to completely finish out the entire Xmen. After I am finished with them..I moving on to work on several other superhero teams and then I'm going to focus more on the horror aspect of my shop. I do enjoy the creation part and hope that you like what I have to present.

Peace!

Welcome to Mutant Life, designs created for Second LIfe

Welcome to my blog on Avatars created for the Online community Second Life.
I have a little buisness going on, well, in 5 locations, called Mutant Life, which specializes in Comic Book, Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Avatars. When I started creating for my friends and also community, I didn't think I would get such a good response for my Avatars that I create, using templates for the skins, CS2, Poser 7 and well any other program I have on my computer that will help me in creating them. I decided to start a blog to start giving fans of the genre and also members, a place to see what is coming up and what I have in the works as of now. One of my current big request is for V of V for Vendetta which is shown above and by the way, that price is in Linden dollars and if you are curious about Second Life, please go to the following location on the web http://secondlife.com/. Joining Second Life is free but there are options to become premium members. When I was finished with it, I had to say that it was some of my best work. I currently am working on Jean Grey, the Phoenix and also the Dark Phoenix versions and Rouge, the older version with her leather like jacket and green/yellow costume. I plan to also do the movie version of them and when finished, I hope to have the entire Xmen created. I have to say, that creating is one of my passions and if you ever get into Second Life and have a request, look me up, I do specials all the time and if you look around, you probably very easily will see someone wearing one of my other costumes.

Here is a list of other items I have created:

Star Trek uniforms in TOS (Old Star Trek)TNG (Next Generation) DS9 Voyager and Future Trek. I have created, Orion Slave Women and costumes, Andorians, Vulcan Uniforms, Guinan, 7 of 9.

Battlestar Galactica (current series) Uniforms, both complete flightsuits and Officers and a 6 blue ribbon dress.

From DC Comics I have the following:

Batman in 3 versions, Wonder Woman, 3 Green Lanterns, Superman, Bat Woman, Super Girl, Catwoman in movie version and current comicbook version, Flash

From Marvel Comics I have:

Current Movie versions of Spiderman and Blackwidow, Comicbook version of both and including the Scarlet Spider in male and female forms and also Spidergirl. I have Sue Richards of Fantastic Four, comic book version, Black Cat, Captain Mar-Vell

V from V for Vendetta

currently working on the following:

Rogue, CB version

Phoenix, Green and Yellow version and Dark Phoenix versions.

I will continue to show more as I go along, but I just wanted to get this blog started to keep my customers and members informed.

Keep watching as I will continue to keep updates coming as I have them worked on.

Thanks for looking and keep on MUTATING!
